Doing his best to will his blood to other parts of his body, he took a deep breath and started to turn away. His wolf stirred, shattering what little control he had grasped. The strangeness of that cooled his burning blood. His wolf had never responded to a female like this before. The meaning of such a thing sobered him instantly. She belonged to another. This couldn’t be.
